
Saudi Health Launches Virtual Platform to Treat Heart Patients
Crowdsourcing space for consultants to work on complex cases
Riyadh: Saudi Health launched Tuesday, November 8th, the national platform for treating heart patients, with the aim of accelerating treatment decisions and enhancing wide-range discussion among consultants on cases that require urgent intervention, while encouraging knowledge transfer between local and global cardiology specialists.
The platform was launched by SEHA Virtual Hospital in cooperation with the Innovation Empowerment Center, in a ceremony held in Riyadh with attendees from the Saudi Health Council, the Saudi Cardiac Catheterization Society, the Digital Government Authority, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
