House of Pops Brings Healthy, Sustainable Treats to Saudi Arabia
Continuing its mission to spread natural happiness, House of Pops’ extensive range of all-natural ice pops is now available in the Kingdom
UAE-headquartered House of Pops offers healthy, five ingredient, plant-based ice treats
Saudi Arabia marks company’s first foray outside the UAE
House of Pops, everyone’s favourite all-natural brand of ice pops and ice creams, which combines natural ingredients, hand-crafted recipes, sustainability and happiness in an irresistible treat – is now coming to Saudi Arabia.
Specifically offered to more health-conscious people in the East Kingdom – Damman and Khobar – the UAE home grown brand is excited to be offering its fresh pops to a new market.
Offering a chance for everyone to indulge in its guilt-free snacks, the House of Pops range is free from artificial colourings, flavourings, refined sugars, and rich in fibre. They are a fun, delicious way to get closer to your ‘Five A Day’ – and with an ever-growing selection of lovingly-crafted tropical and traditional ice pop flavours in its Happiness, Keto, Royal and Dipped range, you’re spoilt for choice, too.
Regional food trends are seeing a shift towards more ethical, sustainable food choices – and fewer food miles are increasingly important to conscious consumers too. As the region still has high incidences of obesity, diabetes and heart disease, there is growing interest in indulgent treats that come without ill effects on health – such as the exciting House of Pops range.
Perfect as an anytime snack, the pops and ice creams can be eaten anytime of day without guilt. Imagine having a sweet, indulgent pop straight after a workout, or offering them to the kids, safe in the knowledge there’s no nasties.
Marcela Sancho, co-founder of the disruptive dessert company, says: “We know how important health is to people in the Kingdom. They follow the latest health trends, but, like us all, are also looking for a healthy dessert that doesn’t compromise on taste! Our research shows that Saudi consumers want something fresh, that tastes good and refreshing, and makes them feel good when they choose it. Increasingly, market research shows they care about what they’re consuming and how it impacts the world around them.”
House of Pops is rooted in a sustainable approach to its range – from the wholly natural ingredients, to the biodegradable packaging. You’ll spot the brand by its bright, colourful image, and its funky approach to ‘spreading happiness one pop at a time.’
Sancho continues: “We have been carefully looking at new markets and where to expand our brand. Our first launch outside the UAE had to be Saudi Arabia, as it’s such a huge market, with so many discerning consumers who are keen to try a healthier snack option, and who will appreciate our tasty treats – which are lower in calories, fat and contain no refined sugar or preservatives.”
The taste of nature on a stick
House of Pops’ fruit-forward ice pops are vegan and feature only natural ingredients. Its winning recipes are the secret behind its hand-crafted ice pops.
The Happiness range is essentially super tasty, super healthy frozen fruit on a stick. While there’s a ‘Fancy Choco’ (cocoa and coconut) one in the range, the rest are fruit, – but in awesome flavour combos like Super Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Galactic Lime, Crazy Coconut, and Blackberry Lemonade– and all naturally sweetened with agave. .
If Keto (high fat, low carb) is your thing, grab one of House of Pop’s keto range, which is more akin to ice cream – but unlike any ice cream you’ve ever tasted before. Featuring organic coconut milk and cream, natural fruits and natural sweeteners, these guilt-free treats also feature vegetable fibre for extra health benefits. You can choose from Strawberry, Coffee, Vanilla or Chocolate flavours.
Royal Pops are larger – and dare we say, even more indulgent, ice cream bars, studded with real fruit pieces, making them the perfect healthy snack. The funky flavour catwalk includes indulgent Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Strawberry, Coconut Strawberry and Mango Strawberry.
Happiness Pops and Keto ice creams come in 80ml servings, while the Royal Pops clock in at 123ml.
Good for people, good for the planet
With purity and people at the heart of its brand, and fully committed to nature, House of Pops strives to be good for its customers and the environment. It takes pride in plastic-free biodegradable packaging. The packaging can also be tailored for special occasions, making its allergen-free ice pops perfect for friends and family.
The 80ml varieties are SAR 20 & 25 SAR, while the 123ml Royal Pops are SAR 25.
