Riyadh - December 19, 2020 – AMC Cinemas has announced that guests visiting AMC Al Khair 9 will now be able to enjoy the IMAX Experience® at its newly opened IMAX® auditorium, featuring IMAX® with Laser Technology. The IMAX Experience® includes a next generation laser projection system with a 12-channel sound system which is exclusive to IMAX auditoriums. AMC Al Khair 9 is the first cinema to offer the IMAX Experience® in Riyadh and has opened with the latest Hollywood blockbuster, Wonder Woman 1984.

 

Wonder Woman 1984 includes sequences shot with IMAX film cameras and shown exclusively in IMAX cinemas these sequences will visually expand to fill the entire screen, allowing moviegoers to experience up to 26% more picture.

 

IMAX with Laser is IMAX’s most advanced experience. Immersive by design, IMAX with Laser has been developed from the ground-up to deliver crystal clear, lifelike images and precision audio for a moviegoing experience unlike anything else. It is set apart by a groundbreaking 4k laser projection system that features a new optical engine, custom designed lenses, and a suite of proprietary technology that delivers brighter images with increased resolution, deeper contrast and the widest range of colors exclusively to IMAX screens.
