Celebrating 50 years of Oman

October 19, 2020:  Hublot and Oman partners Mistal came together once again to collaborate on a special edition.
Building on the success of their first collaboration, the watchmaker and its Oman partners celebrate the Sultanate’s 50th anniversary with the release of the CLASSIC FUSION SPECIAL EDITION OMAN GOLDEN JUBILEE.

'Hublot is happy to celebrate the Sultanate’s 50th anniversary with this new edition, and we are looking forward to seeing the watch on the wrists of our Omani Hublotistas. This launch sets a mark in history, and embodies a fusion of time, history and culture.
- David Tedeschi
Regional Director for Hublot Latin America & Caribbean and Middle East & Africa

'We are proud to present with Hublot this special watch dedicated to our country’s jubilee. This jubilee is an important milestone for the country and we are proud to be able to celebrate it. It is a very special edition that we will cherish for the 50 years to come.
- Dharmesh Ajit Khimji
   Managing Director – Mistal

A special tribute

Housed in 42mm microblasted Titanium case with a brushed bronze bezel this Classic Fusion stands out not only thanks to its material but also its color. A testament to the country’s colors, the dial features a black to green gradient as well as polished gold-plated applique. The Microblasted caseback engraved 'SPECIAL EDITION – GOLDEN JUBILEE – 1 of 100' will allow Omani Hublotistas to mark the occasion with a timeless piece.

The Art of Fusion in materials: Bronze

Hublot cut its Classic Fusion bezel out of bronze, a material created over 10,000 years ago through a fusion of copper and other metals such as aluminium, manganese, nickel or zinc. The alloy has the advantages of non-magnetism, resistance to corrosion and a distinctive appearance through its unmistakable hue. As bronze is covered with a natural patina that protects it and lends it an unparalleled finish, it gives this special edition a beautiful color that contrasts with the smoked green dial which positions its 3N gold-plated appliques in an unusual direction.

An homage to the history of the Sultanate and the avant-garde spirit of Hublot, the highly anticipated watch with its Black rubber and green vintage alligator with green stitching is limited to 100 pieces.
