• New Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister stores open in Saudi Arabia
• Store openings include the first Abercrombie & Fitch location in Riyadh
• Each store launched with an online catalogue for shoppers to purchase from while social distancing

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 20 June 2020:   Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, has expanded its fashion retail business with new store openings across the region. In fact, the company has launched this month in Saudi Arabia two new stores from global specialty retailer Abercrombie & Fitch Co, bringing the very first Abercrombie & Fitch store to Riyadh, alongside a third Hollister store for the capital.

Opening at Al Faisaliah Mode, the new stores build on Majid Al Futtaim’s strong partnership with Abercrombie & Fitch Co. Each location will uphold the stringent health, hygiene, and sanitisation protocols adopted across Majid Al Futtaim’s retail outlets regionwide, helped by the launch of online catalogues to complement the physical presence.

Located on the first floor of the mall, the Abercrombie & Fitch collection provides shoppers with quality clothing for men and women — designed to inspire customers to feel confident and be comfortable.

Meanwhile, Hollister, also located on the first floor, provides carefree styles designed to make teens feel celebrated and comfortable in their own skin.

For extra convenience, shoppers can browse each stores’ digital catalogues from the comfort of their homes. Here, they can place orders for delivery either directly via the digital catalogue or through WhatsApp to addresses across Riyadh and Jeddah. Orders above SAR 200 will be eligible for free delivery.

Fahed Ghanim, acting CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Fashion, said: “Through our new openings and online shopping options we’re happy to bring such iconic brands to the Saudi capital while expanding our ecommerce offering as part of our omnichannel strategy. These new stores cater to local tastes with an expertly curated choice of styles while ensuring fast and easier access to the latest collections. The digital catalogue makes sure of this, and reflects our commitment to meet local needs and preferences. We’re confident these additions will elevate the shopping scene in Riyadh as we continue to create great moments for everyone, every day.”

The latest store openings mark the fourth Abercrombie & Fitch and sixth Hollister stores in the
GCC through Majid Al Futtaim Fashion.
