The RL50 Handbag: Introducing a New Icon
February 26, 2019 : Ralph Lauren introduces The RL50 Handbag, a new icon silhouette merging codes from the brand's heritage: city sophistication, equestrian-inspired details, and the finest quality of leather craftsmanship.
The belted body and elegantly curved topline draw inspiration from Mr. Lauren’s vintage travel bag, a belted pole bag, reinterpreted as a streamlined and structured silhouette—emphasizing effortless functionality for an international lifestyle. Each of the four distinct sizes (mini, medium, large, and oversized) is crafted from supple materials, including calfskin, ayers snakeskin, alligator, and ostrich.
The RL50 Handbag will be available exclusively at select Ralph Lauren global flagships beginning March 2019, followed by limited releases on Ralphlauren.com and with exclusive wholesale partners.
