Airports can represent several challenges in the field of Facilities Management and can cover a multitude of services that can be quite subjective. From large areas to maintain, airport terminals becoming worn due to an increase in passenger traffic and with many of the airports across the GCC under construction, it is imperative FM companies have advanced and proactive systems of control in place to be able to respond efficiently and quickly to lift the load on the facilities, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

FM companies working within the aviation sector need to able to re-schedule and adapt their services to meet the requirements of airport’s needs. Facing challenges such as fluctuation in passenger flows, emergency events and ensuring risk mitigation that could include security or airfield incidents, flight delays and unscheduled arrivals. To combat these arising challenges Initial has a CAFM system that links and reports directly to the clients BMS (Buildings Management System). A critical part of service management is a responsive Help Desk
