Red Sea Mall Hosts 350 orphans for “Iftar Abna'a Al-Khair”

Jeddah, June 28, 2015: For the third consecutive year, Red Sea Mall and Akly Ala Mazagy group have organized “Iftar Abna’a Al Khair” which hosts orphans from various organizations, sponsored by a group of businessmen and businesswomen in Jeddah. The number of orphans this year was 350 orphans, in addition to the sponsors accompanied by their families.

Mr. Mohammed Alawi, CEO of Red Sea Markets Company Ltd. the owner of Red Sea Mall, expressed his happiness for the interaction of businessmen and businesswomen with the “Iftar Abna’a Al-Khair” event, which added value to the ultimate goal that is the interaction of families with the orphans. He said 'Despite the simplicity of the program, it required a great effort by the red sea team and “Akly Ala Mazajy Group” for nearly two months of meetings and intensive workshops, to achieve the objectives for which the ceremony is held every year. Mr. Alawi added, 'We aim to integrate families with our orphans during the ceremony, to build charity bridges and to hearten and uplift the kids in this holy month of Ramadan. We are also aiming to host 1,000 orphans in one of the next versions'

Mr. Mohammed Al Saadawi, founder of the “Akly Ala Mazajy Group” said 'This year's ceremony is marked by increased numbers of orphans and groups that sponsor the event. As the number of participants from businessmen and businesswomen and their families in addition to the volunteers, nearly reached 150 people. This demonstrates the success of this event and achieved the goals it held for'.

It is worth mentioning “Iftar Abna’a Al khair” event included many recreational activities and programs that entertained orphans and introduced happiness to their hearts, where many gifts were distributed. In addition to entertainment acts from the Sun Top Mascot and Hakawaty the storyteller. The Iftar was sponsored by several entities, most notably Sayedati Magazine, Bateel Dates,L2jlkyawatan Volunteer Team, Sun Top Juices and Healthy Food Way Restaurant that set up the Iftar for the orphans.

Red Sea Mall is committed to the Saudi society to increase the awareness and support the spirit of patriotism among young Saudis to express their feelings towards the nation with their own creations, allowing them to review their innovations and creativity in knowledge, art and design. As well as attracting visitors and inviting them to support these young men and women to realize their ambitions and their goals in life.
