Saudi Health 2015 concludes on a successful note with more than 17,000 visitors and participants
May 21, 2015: The 5th edition of Saudi Health 2015, the country’s largest healthcare event, concluded on a successful note with over 17,000 visitors attending the show. The show saw the participation of more than 350 exhibitors from 11 countries across an exhibition space of 8,000 sqm. Saudi Health provided them with a unique platform to showcase their latest innovations in healthcare products and technologies to the government authorities and medical professionals from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Exhibitors commended Saudi Health for its strong reputation in the KSA as a premier healthcare event where they were able to provide the visitors with a better understanding about the most innovative healthcare solutions. Its unique and interactive format offered them an opportunity to launch new products, network with key decision makers, and seek new business opportunities by meeting new and existing clients. Visitors, on the other hand, were able to learn more about the advancement in the medical industry through product launches and their live demonstrations. Moreover, the Continuing Medical Education (CME)-accredited conferences enabled healthcare professionals to enhance their skills according to the requirements of the KSA’s healthcare industry.
An official from REC, Organizer of Saudi Health, said: “Saudi Health is going strong with each edition and continues to post tremendous growth due to rising demand for the latest healthcare solutions in the KSA. Visitors received a first-hand demonstration of newly launched products and at the same time sourced state-of-the-art equipments and machineries directly from global suppliers. The exhibitors were equally upbeat with the outcome of the exhibition where they were able to close many successful deals.”
Mazin Al-Hassan, Chief Commercial Officer of Nawah, saying: 'We have 10 medical sections in the company. On the sidelines of the exhibition, we have signed a partnership contract with “Hitachi 'and '3M' to be their official agent and distributor for their products in Saudi Arabia. Our focus today is on the intensive care unit, as well as the possibility of providing full integrated solutions to hospitals.'
Meanwhile, Dr. Bader Al-Shaibani, CEO of Deryak, praised the exhibition, saying: 'We participated in the Saudi Health Exhibition in order to showcase our medical services and support and consultation services for the medical sector. Deryak maintains a special department focused on providing training via short seminars for the members of medical teams in order to develop their medical and administrative skills. In this new section, we offer services in the registration of the medicines, medical equipments, cosmetics products under the supervision of the FDA.'
Dr. Rafat Taher, CEO Interhealth Canada commented: 'We presented a unique project on the sidelines of Saudi Health Exhibition, which is worth over SAR 250 million. The project is a partnership between Interhealth Canada Inc., a Canadian company and the Endowment of the King Saud University, where Interhealth signed a contract to manage and operate the medical tower of the Endowment for 25 years. The project is characterized by the combination of the Canadian medical standards and the Saudi competencies that have been trained in Canada by the faculty at King Saud University members. The project includes about 80 beds, including 14 suites for VIP and 66 individual room. It also has 16 intensive care sections and 10 fully equipped rooms and several medical equipment operations at a high level. '
