Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - January 05, 2020: Millennium and Copthorne Makkah Al Naseem, the largest cluster property of Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA, is proudly announcing the appointment of a new cluster general manager, who is an award-winning GM with an extensive international experience that extends over 23 year.
Graduated from the American university in Cairo with a bachelor degree in business administration – hospitality industry and a master degree from HotelSchool – The Hague, Mohamed Abdel Fattah accepted many senior assignments throughout his successful career in various international hotel chains in the region including Accor, Hilton and Marriot.
Mr. Abdel Fattah joined Millennium Hotels and Resorts MEA in 2018 as general manager to M Hotel Makkah by Millennium. The hotel has achieved unprecedented accomplishments and scooped many awards during his envisioned management such as “Best Value luxury Hotel” from “Hotel of The Year Awards” and “Best 5 Star Hotel in Makkah” from the Arabian Travel Awards 2019.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, said, “It’s a great honour to be recognized and assigned to manage the largest cluster property of Millennium Hotels and Resort Middle East and Africa. I am thrilled to lead the hotel team to further success and to strengthen its market position since it opened its doors recently this year. Millennium and Copthorne Makkah Al Naseem includes 1062 standard rooms with modern interiors and amenities equipped with LED TVs with streaming function and smart appliances; they also includes 190 spacious suites elegantly designed to offer the utmost comfort with attractive stylish décor featuring a living room, dining area and kitchen with views of the city centre.
