As a Part of #Live_Right Program, Bupa Arabia is Organizing a Padel Tournament in Al-Ula
Al Ula :
With the commitment to raising health awareness and promoting healthy living practices, Bupa Arabia is bringing the third edition of the prestigious Padel Tournament to AlUla from November 21 to November 23, 2024. This tournament is part of Bupa’s sustainable strategy aimed at increasing health consciousness and physical fitness among both corporate and individual clients.
This tournament is one of the components included in the ‘Live Right’ program, which was launched by Bupa Arabia in 2002 and focuses on active health promotion among women in Saudi Arabia. The initiative encourages the adoption of healthy habits, primarily physical exercise, while also promoting a balance between work, life, and sports. This aligns with the targets of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which aims to ensure that participation in sports rises to 40% by the year 2030.
Client Health
Bupa Arabia has also taken a step further by incorporating education into the health milestones of its clients. The firm encourages these clients to engage in sports activities and healthy living to minimize diseases, which in turn facilitates a better standard of living free from health complications. Thus, one of the main characteristics required of the tournament contestants is a commitment to health and fitness, enabling them to compete effectively for victory.
Amin Shaibi: Director - Segment & Trade Management of Marketing at Bupa Arabia, stated: “Bupa Arabia always strives to share the best with the community by creating new approaches that support healthy living. We aim to use this tournament to encourage more individuals and the community to engage in more sports activities, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to create a healthier nation.”
He added, “Promoting health and wellness among employees is one of the key investments made by Bupa Arabia. This tournament is also a way to foster corporate alliances.”
Health Awareness
Bupa Arabia’s health awareness program and encouragement towards participation in sports activities are implemented year-round through numerous events, campaigns, and sporting activities. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, a plan aimed at improving the health of the population, with a specific focus on combating obesity. Through sports events organized for corporate and individual clients, Bupa Arabia strives to create suitable conditions for safe activities while promoting their health on a global scale, raising overall living standards and reducing health risks.
Plans for the Future
Bupa Arabia values community and developmental initiatives and prides itself on being one of the first companies to make individual health its core strategy. The company continues to focus on events and community activities that encourage physical engagement and health promotion among all sectors of society.
