Saudi Beauty Business Shines in Riyadh for Day One of Beautyworld Saudi Arabia 2024

  • On day one of Beautyworld Saudi Arabia, the region’s largest beauty and wellness trade fair, at the Riyadh International Exhibition Centre, Businesses and brands from Saudi Arabia showcased to a global audience of trade visitors from over 63 countries.
  •   A 342% increase in exhibitors since the previous 2022 edition has seen 333 exhibiting in KSA for the very first time, from 42 participating countries.
  • 38 exhibitors are from KSA with 37 of them being brand new to Beautyworld Saudi Arabia, welcoming the opportunity to showcase both legacy and new brands to the world.
  • Making a KSA debut, the BeautyLIVE! stage and the Next in Beauty Conference kicked off with the WAHL Barber Battle and insights on retail strategies in the KSA Beauty industry and the regulatory landscape and compliance standards for products in KSA.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Day one of the 4th edition of the Kingdom’s largest international trade fair for the beauty and wellness industry showcased a global offering of talent, insight, products and services at Beautyworld Saudi Arabia 2024 being held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre (RICEC) until February 13th.

Standing out amongst 42 participating countries, exhibitors from KSA numbered 38, with 37 of them exhibiting for the first time “Beautyworld Saudi Arabia is one of the most important exhibitions in the world and having it in Riyadh brings so much value to the Saudi market. We are honoured to be first time exhibitors here with our growing salon and beauty supply brand” said Baligh Abdullah, General Director, Dar Al Amirat “Being here connects us with our business partners, and we love to meet our existing and new, Beautyworld is perfect for us to build new relationships with potential clients and businesses” Abdullah continued.

“Being a Saudi Arabian business, exhibiting in Riyadh to the world is an amazing opportunity for us to present ourselves to new suppliers, businesses and contacts” said Abdulmalik Abanami, General Manager of 2-year-old cosmetics and beauty company, Promise. 'We are growing exponentially at the moment, which is both exciting and also exhilarating, but starting as an online store, growing to bricks and mortar so quickly and expanding also, is testament to the growing need of a local brand, and one we can take internationally. Day one at Beautyworld Saudi Arabia has seen us busier than we can handle with so many international requests for the Promise brand.” he continued.

“KSA is defined by its beauty for me. As a Saudi girl, having this event here in KSA, so large and so present, feels so heartfelt for me. Promise targets both Gen Z and Millennials so we are catering for the latest generation of Saudi consumers and are very trends led. Beautyworld Saudi Arabia is an amazing connection between our new Saudi brand and the rest of the world, even at just 2 years old” expressed Raghad Altubaishi, Marketing Specialist at Promise.

The biggest exhibition yet for Beautyworld Saudi Arabia - 4 times larger than previous editions - was toured by representatives of Riyadh Chamber, Adhari Al-Haddari, Head of the Decorating and Sewing Centers Committee and Manal Al-Jarbou, Vice-Chairman of the Businesswomen’s Committee followed by a full day’s agenda at the Next In Beauty Conference running alongside the main show, with the BeautyLIVE! stage full of tutorials and demonstrations across the three days.

Saudi Arabia is the 5th Beautyworld event globally, following annual shows in Dubai (Beautyworld Middle East) and Japan (Beautyworld Japan, Beautyworld Japan West, and Beautyworld Japan Fukuoka). Beautyworld Saudi Arabia is licensed to 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences by Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH.
