Riyadh, 29 November 2017:  Amid growing interest in Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is keen on stimulating the economy with a focus on electronic applications, leadership, the fourth industrial revolution, and bridging the digital gap to go inline with the Saudi Vision 2030.

HE Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al Sawahah, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and chairman of the Communications Authority and Information Technology is pleased to sponsor the first Saudi Electronic Applications Exhibition organized by Leadership Address this December at the Movenpick Hotel in Riyadh.

The first edition of the exhibition will be held under the slogan (Innovative with my Applications) and aims to provide an opportunity to present creative work in the field of applications. The event will provide an encouraging environment to spread the culture of investment, link entrepreneurs and owners of ideas in the applications sector, and connect business incubators and venture capitalists. The mission of the event is to gather all initiatives, ideas, and technical plans, and discuss them on one platform, including showcasing successful experiences in detail to share knowledge.

Mr. Yousef Sultan, Chief Executive Officer of Leadership Address, explains, 'With this exhibition, we aim to deliver Saudi software programs and applications globally. We seek to develop the creative and innovative side of Saudi applications in collaboration with our local and international partnerships, as well as focusing on new applications and determine whether they are keeping pace with global electronic markets. In addition to addressing the technical investment side to revive this sector, and thus participate in growing Saudi economy.'

The exhibition will last for three days starting from 14 to 16 December 2017, and will include workshops and partnerships with the King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology, BADIR Technology Incubator program, and LinkedIn, as it attracts the most important Saudi applications. It is expected that more than three thousand visitors will attend the event.
