  • Super slow motion functionality and intelligent features of new Xperia XZ Premium brought to life in singer’s new video

Dubai, 11th June 2017:  Renowned Lebanese singer and record producer Fares Karam has featured Sony Mobile’s latest Xperia smartphone in his new music video, Mnamnam, which was directed by award-winning director Hass Ghaddar.

Throughout the video, which was filmed at various locations across Lebanon, Fares Karam showcases the new Xperia XZ Premium at key moments in his journey, from experimenting with the smartphone’s Super slow motion feature in different environments to highlighting the Xperia XZ Premium’s other intelligent features.

Commenting on the collaboration, Fares Karam said: “I had a great time working with the Sony Mobile team and I especially enjoyed using the Xperia XZ Premium and experiencing all its features. The Super slow motion camera is definitely a standout feature on the phone and something that turns an experience into a memory in the most innovative and unique way.”

Gita Ghaemmaghami, Regional Marketing Communications Manager at Sony Mobile Middle East and Africa, said: “We are thrilled to have this collaboration with Rotana and Fares Karam as he is one of the most popular and genuine Lebanese and Arab artists. Together, Fares and Hass Ghaddar have uniquely captured the excellent features on Xperia XZ Premium at significant and critical moments in the video.”

Since its unveiling earlier this year, Xperia XZ Premium has won more than 30 industry awards globally and is the only smartphone in the world to feature Sony’s new Motion Eye™ camera system. It offers the world’s first 960 framesi per second Super slow motion video capture and playback, four times slower than any other smartphone. Its camera is so advanced that it captures motion that the human eye can’t see.
